Position Overview: The Paver Operator is responsible for operating asphalt paving machines to lay smooth, consistent asphalt surfaces. Responsibilities: • Operate asphalt paver and screed safely and efficiently • Adjust screed for proper depth and grade • Communicate with crew to maintain steady material flow • Perform daily equipment inspections • Maintain clean, safe operation of equipment
Qualifications: • Previous asphalt paver experience required • Ability to read grade and elevation • Strong understanding of paving operations • Mechanical knowledge a plus
