Asphalt Paving Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead paving crews on commercial, municipal, and roadway construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive asphalt paving experience, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive job site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving operations and crew activities.
  • Lead and motivate field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Monitor paving quality and ensure work meets project specifications.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs when necessary.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and project specifications.
  • Complete daily reports, production logs, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, suppliers, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt paving, with supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of paving equipment, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read construction plans and coordinate field operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical demands of the job.
