Patient Accounts Manager Position Summary

The Patient Accounts Manager for Payment Posting is responsible for insuring the accurate and timely billing of all services provided by TidalHealth, Insurance and patient payment posting and customer service for internal and external stakeholders. They are the primary contact and resource for TidalHealth's electronic billing and payment processes, and compliance with government and payor billing regulations. This position is responsible for improving accounts receivable so that the enterprises cash flow continually improves and for reducing accounts receivables and A/R day's in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Patient Accounts Manager Position Requirements

Education

• Associates Degree required, but will consider seven plus (7+) years of experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Bachelor's degree with concentration in business preferred.

Required License and/or Certificate

• American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management Certification (AAHAM) or Healthcare Financial Management Association Certification (HFMA) certification preferred.

Experience

• Seven (7) years of patient accounting experience required in lieu of educational requirement.
• Four (4) years of supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Formal EPIC billing education required upon hire or within two (2) years of employment.

Patient Accounts Manager Benefits

• At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
