Payment Services Representative

Two (2) years of experience in customer service, cashiering or clerical work experience.

OR

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree, plus one (1) year of customer service, cashiering or clerical work experience.

Desired Skills

• Previous work experience in cashiering
• Previous clerical work experience
• Previous professional cash handling experience
• Previous work experience using web-based sales and point-of-sale software
• Previous work experience accessing screens, viewing account records, and entering payments
• Previous work experience in customer service in a high-volume, public environment
• Fluency in a language other than English

Selection Requirements: This position requires candidates to pass a test and complete an interview. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after the test results have been compiled and analyzed. Applicants who receive a passing score on the test will be selected to interview. The interviewed bidders possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected in seniority order according to the collective bargaining agreement. The interviewed external candidate(s) receiving a passing score on the test and possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral interview and written exercise, will be selected for hire in random/lottery order.
