Payment Technology Strategy Lead

Hands-on executive payments transformation leader with deep cross-border payments experience, strong banking/payment infrastructure background, and exposure to emerging payment technologies including stablecoin-enabled settlement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 15+ years in payments, transaction banking, treasury technology, fintech, or financial services technology.
• Deep cross-border payments, SWIFT, correspondent banking, and international payment workflow experience.
• Strong implementation background across enterprise payment technology platforms.
• ISO 20022 migration, payment messaging transformation, sanctions screening, payment tracking, and operational resiliency experience.
• Experience with payment architecture, APIs, orchestration, real-time payments, and integration patterns.
• Vendor exposure with FIS, Fiserv, SWIFT ecosystem vendors, fintech partners, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to partner across product, treasury, operations, technology, risk, compliance, legal, and vendors.
• Emerging payments experience, ideally stablecoin settlement, tokenized payments, blockchain infrastructure, or digital asset payment models.
• Strong governance, controls, AML/BSA, fraud, cybersecurity, regulatory, and third-party risk management understanding.
• Executive communication and ability to advise senior leadership on payment innovation and modernization.

Highly Preferred Background:

• Commercial banking or global transaction banking payments modernization.
• Stablecoin, blockchain-enabled settlement, tokenized money movement, or regulated digital asset payment use cases.
• Treasury management, FX workflows, liquidity management, and international commercial banking payments.
• Interoperability across SWIFT, RTP, FedNow, ACH, wire, and emerging payment rails.
• Experience balancing innovation, operational execution, and regulatory risk at enterprise scale.
