Job Description

Position : Payments Business Analyst
Location : New Castle, DE / Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, FL
Duration : Fulltime

Job Description:
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
1. Business & Functional Analysis:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems..
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs.

2. Payments Domain Expertise:
  • Work across key payments areas:
    • Wire Payments (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS)
    • ACH / SEPA
    • Real-Time Payments (RTP) / Faster Payments.
    • Cards & Merchant Payments.
  • Understand end-to-end payment lifecycle:
    • Initiation Validation Clearing Settlement Reconciliation

Domain Skills:
  • Strong experience in Payments (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of:
    • ISO 20022.
    • SWIFT messaging (MT/MX)
    • Payment hubs / core banking systems.
