Payne Mission Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team at Payne Mission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to dealership and factory standards.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an automotive technology program preferred
- ASE certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for 3 consecutive years.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Experience:

- Service technician: 1 year (Preferred)

- Licensed Driving: 3 years (Required)

- Dealership: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (Required)

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as assigned
- Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment
- Communicate with service advisors about repairs needed
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety guidelines and company standards
- Stay current with developments in automotive technology and repair techniques
