Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies
  • Review, audit, and correct timecards for accuracy, including overtime and missed punches
  • Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Calculate wages, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings adjustments
  • Manage employee deductions including benefits, garnishments, and taxes
  • Respond to employee and management payroll inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll systems
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Ensure all deadlines are met for payroll submission and processing

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll systems (UKG)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
