Pacific Coast Producers | Full-Time | On-Site | Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $24 - $31.25 /hour (based on experience)

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our corporate office in Lodi, CA. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to own our full-cycle payroll process and champion compliance for a diverse, dynamic workforce. We're looking for a detail-oriented expert with five-plus years of experience who thrives on problem-solving and wants to be a trusted partner to our teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and furlough payrolls for hourly, salaried, seasonal employees; including reviewing and importing hours from a time and attendance system.
  • Prepare manual checks/termination calculations as needed.
  • Provides regular reporting on attendance, PTO balances, labor distribution, etc. for internal Managers, auditors, work comp carriers, insurance providers, etc.
  • Assists with employment verification process.
  • Perform critical administrative and legal duties surrounding wage garnishments.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and provide payroll information by answering questions and requests from managers and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and CBA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
  • Assist in year-end W-2 processing.
  • Partner with managers on payroll issues as they arise.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and Company.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in payroll administration.
  • Experience with tax review and W2/1099 reporting using ADP similar payroll vendor.
  • Strong understanding of State (CA) and Federal Wage and Hour Law, garnishment management, and pre- and post-tax deductions.
  • Proficient in math and good analytical skills.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using database reporting tools to create extracts and reports.
  • Good verbal communication skills, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Minimum education of High School or equivalent, AA degree preferred.

Pay Range: $24 - $31.25 /hourly (based on experience). This is a full-time, on-site role, based at our corporate office in Lodi, CA.

The base salary range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:
