Payroll Processing & Administration
Prepare and process multi-state payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Review and validate payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments. Execute off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and manual payments when required. Coordinate payroll funding and general ledger postings. Perform regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrections. Maintain compliance with wage and hour regulations, tax laws, and company policies. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external agencies during audits or inquiries. Monitor, research, and interpret regulatory changes affecting payroll. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for HR, Finance, and leadership. Support year-end processes, including W-2 review, tax reconciliations, and reporting.
