Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 annually (based on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As a Payroll Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing payroll processes, analyzing payroll data, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and leadership. You'll work closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Accounting teams to maintain payroll accuracy and improve payroll-related processes.

What You'll Do
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, tax information, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposit data.
  • Audit payroll reports and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees, managers, and external agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Process employee status changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, and leave adjustments.
  • Prepare payroll reports and provide analysis to management regarding payroll trends and labor costs.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and reporting.
  • Support payroll system upgrades, testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Accounting teams to ensure accurate employee and financial records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information at all times.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and garnishments.
  • Experience with payroll software systems such as ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, Paylocity, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer throughout the day.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Twinsburg, Ohio and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
