Job Description:
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of processing payroll. A high degree of confidentiality, dedication and reliability is required to successfully perform this position. This position demands close attention to detail while analyzing payroll process efficiency. Works closely with ADP to ensure all taxes are reconciled to 100% accuracy. Any anomalies must be identified immediately.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the accuracy and efficiency within processing of payroll, prepares reports highlighting performance against targets.
- Verifying payroll data integrity
- Analyzing payroll performance with suggestions for improvement areas.
- Work with Management to ensure timecards are received on time, PTO requests are processed, and bonus / incentive pay is accurate.
- Work with employees to resolve pay and accrual discrepancies.
- Work closely with accounting to provide payroll reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal wage and hour laws regarding current and terminated employees.
- Overseeing the distribution of paychecks and direct deposits.
- Analyzing payroll process efficiency while reporting to management on each payroll run.
- Identify areas of opportunity and presents improvement plans to the Payroll Manager.
- Verifying all employees are associated within the correct tax authorities, both state and local jurisdictions.
- Work with management team to implement improvement initiatives.
- Always demonstrate high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in financial-related position required.
- Expert knowledge of payroll systems
- Expert time management, problem solving and data analysis skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and professional image
- High level of proficiency with MS Office tools, including Word and Excel
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
- Initiative/self-directed, self-motivated
- Ability to respond to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Ability to perform complex statistical analysis.

Base Pay Range: Hourly salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $33.00 - $36.00 per hour. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidates experience, location, and qualifications.
