A nonprofit health services organization in New York is seeking a new Payroll Analyst to join its Brooklyn team, handling payroll for multiple employee groups.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days WFH)
Responsibilities:
- Processing biweekly payroll accurately and on time
- Handling payroll transactions in compliance with regulations
- Auditing timecards for compliance with laws
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Ensuring accurate recordkeeping for payroll transactions
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Payroll experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of Payroll regulations
- Experience in HRIS/Payroll Management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Human Resources
- Payroll certification
- Experience with System Optimization
