For over 25 years Quick Response Fire Protection has proudly provided the design installation maintenance inspections and repairs of fire protection systems within the tri-state area. Along the way Quick Response has grown to become the largest provider of fire protection systems in the state of New Jersey providing fire protection services to all industries and property types.Due to continued growth we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Timekeeper Assistant to join our team in Freehold NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong payroll background. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll data while supporting various administrative tasks within the branch. This is a fast-paced environment and attention to detail is critical for success. Previous Union experience is a plus.ResponsibilitiesAssist in collecting payroll data for accuracy and compliance to resolve discrepancies or missing entriesAccurately enter weekly union and non-union payroll data ensuring timely processingPrepare and submit reports related to timekeeping and attendance as requiredResolve queries from teammates regarding paychecks deductions and related questionsCoordinate with payroll and HR departments to ensure proper documentation and timely processingUnderstand union contracts and guidelinesAssist in the hiring process of union and non-union employeesSupport continued development of an organized and efficient office environmentThis position performs a variety of other tasks associated with documentation management and timekeeping activities working closely with field leads and supervisorsMay be required to work periodic overtime to meet deadlinesExecute efficiencies for cross-functional department processesOpportunity to grow within the organizationQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent associate or bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferredProven experience in an administrative role with a focus on payroll data entry preferredExperience Passport and UKG Time is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly ExcelAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently as well as a team environment to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills As part of the DU Family of Companies we believe that investing and empowering our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
