Job Overview

ADP is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support payroll operations in a remote, part-time role. The primary responsibility of this position is the accurate printing, handling, and distribution of payroll checks to clients via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. This role also includes general payroll administrative support tasks to ensure smooth and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Print payroll checks accurately and securely based on scheduled payroll cycles
  • Package and prepare checks for shipment to clients
  • Coordinate outgoing deliveries using USPS, UPS, and FedEx
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate delivery records
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and client information
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding payroll status and shipment updates
  • Ensure compliance with internal payroll procedures and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in payroll, accounting support, or administrative roles preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, spreadsheets, document handling)
  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace
