Job Description:
  • Payroll Associate Assists with performance of calculations for internal and/or external clients and completion of tax reporting or other regulatory filing requirements to ensure compliance with state and national regulations.
  • Assists with the implementation of client plans for the tax and/or regulatory cycle and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Gathers data and documentation to complete standard filings.
  • Determines liabilities, withholdings, and other calculations for internal or external clients.
  • May answer routine questions from clients regarding earnings, deductions, tax and/or regulatory calculations and reporting.
  • Assists with the completion of all payroll processes for the US.
  • Responsible for contributing to the processing of the semi-monthly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls in addition to variable compensation, Stock transactions and Deferred Compensation.
  • Participates in special projects and may lead some special projects that are less complex in nature.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations.
  • No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience is preferred.
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • US Payroll processing, Tax reporting and analysis experience preferred.

Additional Information:
  • Duration: 6 month contract to hire opportunity
  • Hybrid Work Model: 4 days onsite required weekly in downtown Pittsburgh office
  • Rate Range: $35-40/hr. W2 (based on experience)
