Responsibilities:
- Be a primary point of contact for payroll- and benefits-related questions for employees and managers
- Conduct new-hire orientations covering payroll and benefits enrollment
- Process weekly and monthly payroll, including overtime, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments
- Maintain payroll records, reconcile accounts, and support payroll reporting and audits
- Review and validate timesheets, PTO, bonuses, adjustments, and wage calculations prior to payroll submission
- Ensure correct computation of wages, overtime, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings
- Administer benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and 401(k) tracking
Requirements: - Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience processing payroll and administering benefits
- Previous experience with employee benefit enrollment, including new hire, open enrollment, and qualifying events
- Practical knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, FMLA/ADA, and benefits administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Previous experience with payroll tax processes and compliance procedures
