Tech-savvy with a solid working knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems.
Prior experience in payroll administration, HR, benefits for similar size organization preferred.
Comfortable managing sensitive information with total confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills: ability to analyze and organize complex financial data accurately and efficiently (pivot tables, formulas, large data sets, etc.).
Communicate professionally with both in-person and phone-based public interactions.
Degree in accounting, finance, human resources or related field, relevant certifications, or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Payroll Operations: Execute accurate, timely bi-weekly payroll processing for 165 employees, including deductions, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Benefits & Leave: Administer employee benefit programs, manage FMLA, leave tracking, performance management.
Finance Support: Process invoices related to benefits and payroll deductions.
Data & Reporting: Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to promptly resolve errors and prepare reporting. Maintain highly confidential employee and medical records securely.
Staff Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and payroll.
Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. Accuracy, discretion, and dependable follow-through are essential.
General Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
