We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about maintaining accuracy in all tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll in a timely and precise manner, maintaining comprehensive payroll records, and ensuring adherence to all company policies and relevant regulations. This role will also involve working closely with our existing payroll specialist to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Clerk, your key duties will include:

1. Processing bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
2. Calculating and preparing termination checks in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
3. Maintaining and updating payroll records, including details of employee earnings, deductions, and tax information.
4. Reviewing timekeeping records for accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
5. Preparing payroll reports and reconciling payroll data using Excel.
6. Assisting with year-end payroll processes, including the preparation and reporting of W-2 forms.
7. Performing other payroll-related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in using the ADP payroll system.
3. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
6. A solid understanding of payroll practices and legislation.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
