Payroll Clerk

LHH is working with a construction company to search for a temporary to hire Payroll Clerk for their team. This person will be responsible for a certain piece of the payroll processing so high attention to detail will be really important. The manager is open to considering candidates who don't have a lot of payroll experience yet, if you have had some sort of HR, office, or accounting experience. They are looking for someone who is eager to learn, who will take direction well, and who has strong customer service skills. Job Duties:

• Processing prevailing wage hours
• Reviewing and auditing timecards
• Assisting employees with payroll entry or payroll-related questions
• Reviewing and updating pay rates per contract agreements
• Supporting the payroll team with weekly payroll processing
• Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• At least a year of HR, office, payroll processing, or accounting experience
• Knowledge of prevailing wage or certified payroll is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and desire to help others
• High attention to detail
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP would be helpful

Employment Details:

• Temporary to hire
• Monday through Friday, standard office hours
• Fully onsite in Kirkland, WA

Pay Details: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
