Job Description
Role: Payroll Clerk
Location: Scottsdale Arizona 85254
Pay: $23- $28/hour
Hours: Mon-Fri 8a - 5pm (start between 7am - 9:30am)
Overview of Responsibilities
- Support daily payroll reporting and employee onboarding
- Validate new hires and ensure all payroll data is entered accurately to the designated field in UKG
- Assist with payroll support related to an upcoming company move
- Take on increased responsibilities as ramp up progresses
- Use UKG payroll system (highly preferred; strongly desired at start)
- Process multistate payroll for approximately 1,5002,000 employees
- Handle Personnel Action Requests: new hires, salary changes, bonuses, transfers, terminations, retro pay, and benefits adjustments
- Process garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.)
- Generate and distribute manual payroll checks accurately and timely
- Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees and management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of high volume payroll experience
- Strong payroll systems knowledge (UKG experience preferred / required)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills
