Payroll Consultant

A consumer products company in New Jersey is seeking a new Payroll Consultant with proficiency using Dayforce to support multi-country payroll operations and related timekeeping activities.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end payroll activities for U.S. and Canadian employee populations, with additional exposure to U.K. payroll processes
• Prepare, review, and organize payroll inputs and supporting documentation for submission to the payroll provider
• Respond to employee and manager payroll and timekeeping questions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, records maintenance, and validation of payroll results
• Support time and attendance activities, including timecard issues, schedule exceptions, approvals, and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Payroll experience
• Strong experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) Payroll and Timekeeping
• Experience supporting U.S. and Canada (a plus) payroll
• Proficiency with time management and clock in/out processes in Dayforce
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information with discretion and sound judgment

Desired Skills:

• U.K. and Canada payroll experience
• Experience supporting a third-party payroll provider
• Experience with Ceridian payroll systems
• Payroll experience in a multi-country or multi-location environment
• Familiarity with payroll reconciliations, deductions, and garnishments
