LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Coordinator to join our client on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy in payroll processing. Youll play a key role in ensuring timely and compliant payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timesheets
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Assist with audits and compliance documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll tasks
Qualifications:
- 1 year of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll processing systems (Ultipro, UKG, ADP or Paylocity highly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills are required (pivot tables and vlookups at a minimum)
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation and schedule:
- Compensation: $55k - $60k
- Fully onsite
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
