Payroll Coordinator
Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is hiring a Payroll Coordinator. The Payroll Coordinator assists the Finance Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service professionals who are detailed oriented and dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Assists with calculating employees' hours from timecards and timekeeping systems; ensures that all employees are paid on time and accurately
Prepares ADP enterprise entries; prepares and issues paychecks
Updates financial records including manifest, billing, payroll, invoices, and reconciliations
Troubleshoots payroll issues; verify the accuracy of figures and computations
Responds to employee questions regarding all types of payroll questions
Maintains data including file back-ups and documentation files
Balances and reconciles payroll accounts; prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions; may keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages
Maintains confidentiality of all information
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 to 4 years of relevant payroll experience, including ADP experience, required
Demonstrates leadership qualities and is a self-starter
Excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (include amount of travel):
Must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing systems/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone
Move about the office and bus yard
Ability to provide additional information relating to this position (Revenue, Headcount, # of buses; Budgets $, etc.)
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
May require responding to emergencies or service disruptions outside of regular business hours.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
This position requires working in an office setting as well as in the field to monitor and support bus operations.
