Payroll Coordinator

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Payroll Coordinator.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce of approximately 2,000 employees. This role will be responsible for processing payroll for an assigned employee group and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across payroll functions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and able to quickly learn and navigate payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for a designated employee population (approximately 100 employees), with responsibilities rotating across pay groups as needed
• Support payroll operations across multiple pay cycles, including weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for both hourly and salaried employees
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Manage payroll-related tasks, including wage garnishments and deductions
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and discrepancies
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities based on training progression and team needs
