GENERAL SUMMARY
Manages the payroll processes for the Springfield Public Schools and the City of Springfield. Provides external reporting to state and federal authorities for employees' gross wages and benefits. Works closely with Human Resources to be certain that employees are paid both timely and accurately.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This position requires the employee to be in an office or similar indoor environment. Employee may be exposed to individuals who are rude or irate and individuals with known violent backgrounds.
