Payroll Executive

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll reporting, and employee payroll support. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll administration while maintaining compliance with local employment, tax, and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Ensure correct calculation and submission of statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax (PCB/MTD).
• Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll data and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Manage payroll statutory and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee statutory contributions, tax submissions, and annual reporting activities.
• Maintain compliance documentation and support audits, investigations, and regulatory enquiries.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and ensure alignment with finance records.
• Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and statutory submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Malaysia payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Good understanding of Malaysian employment legislation, payroll practices, and statutory requirements.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
• Familiarity with SAP HCM and Access SAGE payroll systems is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.
