Payroll Manager
A well-established organization located in Harford County, MD is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of a high-volume, multi-state payroll operation. This is a full-time, direct hire role for someone who knows the work and is ready to lead it.
Responsibilities- Oversee the semi-monthly payroll cycle for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Manage benefits administration alongside state and federal tax filing requirements
- Process and review payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain complete and organized payroll records and documentation
- Serve as a resource for employee and management questions related to payroll
- Train management on ADP system responsibilities
- Produce payroll and staffing reports for executive leadership
- Document and maintain payroll procedures
Qualifications- Demonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex pay structure environment
- Proficiency in Excel, including customized reporting
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
