Salary: $85,000-$95,000

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Manager:

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll function for a multi-state workforce
• Manage and develop one direct report responsible for payroll processing activities
• Lead payroll reporting, compliance, and audit initiatives, including 401(k), workers' compensation, and financial audits
• Review and approve payroll transactions, tax filings, and year-end processing
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll general ledger accounts
• Drive payroll process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements

Qualifications for the Payroll Manager:

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience
• Previous supervisory or management experience required
• Strong background in payroll audits, reporting, compliance, and process improvement
• Accounting-focused background preferred; Bachelor's degree a plus
