LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing, manage audits and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with payroll laws. This role requires 7-10 years of payroll experience, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and excellent organizational skills. This direct hire role is in San Francisco, CA and the anticipated salary is between $140,000-$170,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of payroll operations
· Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, and process controls
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll best practices
· Review and audit payroll transactions
· Supervise payroll team members and act as liaison with other departments for resolution of payroll issues
· Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
· Develop and communicate policies and procedures to improve business and operational efficiencies
· Manage payroll processing workflows and complex scheduling/timekeeping functions
· Ensure accurate year-end payroll processing and tax fillings
· Lead payroll system implementations
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of payroll experience
· At least 2 years of supervisory experience
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and controls
· Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
· Strong ADP Workforce experience required
· Strong Excel skills
· CPP certification preferred
