Job Overview
We're seeking a Payroll Processing Associate to support payroll operations by processing payroll-related requests and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Training will be provided on internal payroll systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions and manual check requests
- Work within internal payroll and timekeeping systems
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
- Research and resolve payroll-related issues
- Perform accurate data entry and administrative tasks
- Support both union and non-union payroll processes (training provided)
Qualifications- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Access skills (primarily data entry)
- Strong keyboarding and 10-key skills
- Payroll experience is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work overtime or outside scheduled hours as business needs require
