Payroll Processing Associate
Payrate: 18.00-18.80/hr
1+ year contract

M-F 7-5pm must be flexible to work these extended hours to meet business needs

Job Summary
The Payroll Processing Associate supports payroll operations by processing payroll-related requests and working with internal systems to help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
Responsibilities
  • Process payroll-related requests and transactions.
  • Use payroll systems and internal web-based applications (training provided).
  • Handle confidential payroll information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts regarding payroll matters.
  • Research and resolve payroll issues using strong analytical skills.
  • Perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Support both union and non-union payroll processes (training provided).
Qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, primarily for data entry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Accurate typing and 10-key data entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Payroll experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outside scheduled hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
