Job Title : Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist
Location : New York NY 10004
Duration : 3+ months contract (Possible extension )
Education : High school diploma or GED.
Shift Details : M-F schedule 8 am to 4 pm
Job Description:
- Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
- Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and pay calculations
- Support payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies in payroll data
- Process deductions such as taxes, benefits, garnishments, and direct deposits
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state payroll regulations
