LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Southfield, MI to identify an experienced Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large employee population.

Key Qualifications:

3+ years of payroll processing experience

Experience processing high-volume payroll

Union payroll experience is required

Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

Experience with payroll systems and reporting

High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Process large-volume payroll accurately and efficiently

• Manage union payroll requirements, deductions, and reporting

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

• Review payroll data, audit reports, and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain payroll records and employee payroll documentation

• Partner with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
