We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist / HR Generalist to join our team in Westerville, Ohio. This role is primarily responsible for payroll processing, with additional responsibilities supporting HR functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll (Primary Focus):

• 
  
• Process and manage weekly/biweekly payroll accurately and on time
• 
  
• Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and taxes
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• 
  
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries
• 
  
• Coordinate with finance on payroll reporting and audits
• 
  

HR Generalist Duties:

• 
  
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes
• 
  
• Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
• 
  
• Assist with benefits administration and employee communications
• 
  
• Support employee relations and respond to HR-related inquiries
• 
  
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 2+ years of payroll experience (multi-state preferred)
• 
  
• Experience with HR processes and generalist responsibilities
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
• 
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  
• Experience with HRIS/payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar)
• 
  
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field
•
