This positionis is responsible for performing a variety of technical and professional duties involved in the processing of Tulane's bi-weekly and monthly payrolls. Maintains payroll systems and processes paychecks according to schedule and in the correct amount, ensuring payroll processes comply with state, federal, and local regulations. Implements best practices as regulations change and researches and resolves complex, non-routine problems. This position may provide guidance and direction to less experienced payroll practitioners and oversee their daily work.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Associate's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience directly related to payroll duties and responsibilities specified.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • FPC or CPP Designation
  • Experience using Oracle and UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) time and attendance, formerly Kronos, software
