Description
Areas of Responsibility:
We are requesting contingent worker help to support the processing of Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll data. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure technicians are compensated accurately and on time while upholding compliance with all federal, state, and customer-specific requirements. These roles will also provide critical support performing a variety of tasks, especially within Microsoft excel and outlook, as the team evaluates strategic process enhancements and system improvements.

The contingent workers will manage the daily processing of internal Excel reports, handle sensitive payroll data, and submit required documentation through state and customer portals. We are seeking individuals with versatile skillsets—those who bring payroll and prevailing wage expertise, advanced Excel proficiency, and strong collaboration skills. We anticipate two roles dedicated primarily to Prevailing Wage processing and one role focused on Certified Payroll, with opportunities for cross-support based on workload demands.

Key Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Consistently follows complex, multi-step processes with accuracy and precision.
  • Advanced Computer & Excel Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including advanced formulas, data analysis, and data validation.
  • Strong Mathematical Aptitude: Able to interpret and work confidently with numerical data.
  • Commitment to Confidentiality: Protects sensitive employee information and all data related to Prevailing Wage requirements and project compliance.
  • Strategic Thinking & Sound Judgment: Recognizes discrepancies, investigates root causes, and seeks guidance when needed rather than proceeding without clarity.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Works effectively within a team, supports colleagues, and contributes to shared goals.
  • As part of the interview process, candidates may be asked to complete an Excel skills test.
