RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

• 
  
• Process payroll accurately and timely for employees
• 
  
• Review and verify timecards, payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments
• 
  
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure proper documentation
• 
  
• Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, direct deposits, and tax withholding updates
• 
  
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions
• 
  
• Process garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions
• 
  
• Partner with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll information
• 
  
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and process improvements as needed
• 
  

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

• 
  
• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred
• 
  
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, taxes, and wage and hour requirements
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred; relevant payroll experience will be considered
• 
  

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Base Salary depending on experience
