Our client is a successful and very employee friendly corporation and they are looking to hire for a Payroll Specialist in Nassau County, NY. The proper candidate will have at least five years of payroll experience, multi-state and union/non-union required. You will be part of a Payroll Department that handles a weekly payroll for over 1,000 employees across the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that can offer you a challenge as well as stability. They are FULLY ONSITE and looking for local candidates. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 plus bonus and full benefits package.
The responsibilities of the Payroll Manager job include: - Processing of a large, multistate union and non-union employee payroll
- Assure accuracy of payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations
- Work with employees to resolve any issues with compensation
Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of payroll experience with an ADP product
- Must have experience with union payroll
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork mentality and the willingness to go over and above as needed
