We’re partnering with a well-established construction organization seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has experience navigating union payroll, certified payroll, prevailing wage, and construction-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees from timekeeping through final payroll processing
• 
  
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public works and construction projects
• 
  
• Interpret union agreements, wage rates, fringe benefits, and prevailing-wage requirements
• 
  
• Review timecards, calculate wages and deductions, reconcile payroll, and research discrepancies
• 
  
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support reporting, audits, year-end processes, and other payroll-related projects
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience
• 
  
• Construction payroll experience strongly preferred
• 
  
• Union payroll and certified payroll experience required
•
