LHH has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Payroll Specialist to support our client on a temp-to-perm basis. This position will begin fully onsite for training and transition to a hybrid schedule in our client's Downtown Brooklyn office. Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll for 500+ employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, and employee records; research and resolve payroll discrepancies
Process new hires, terminations, salary changes, garnishments, and other payroll updates
Prepare payroll reconciliations, payroll-related journal entries, and supporting reports
Assist with month-end close, audit requests, and payroll compliance activities
Partner with HR and Accounting to maintain accurate employee data and support payroll operations
Qualifications:
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Experience with ADP, UKG, Paycom, Workday, or similar payroll systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
$30-38/hr
Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
