Senior Payroll Specialist
Position Overview
The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment of employees. The role requires strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Process multiple pay groups, weekly and off - cycle pay runs
Process multiple payrolls across various employee groups
Handle complex union payroll calculations and reporting
Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance
Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union payroll requirements
Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Operations teams regarding payroll matters
Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and special projects
Qualifications
3+ years of payroll processing experience required
Experience processing union payroll is strongly preferred
Experience in construction, utilities, industrial, or field-service environments is a plus
Proficiency with Payroll systems like Paychex, ADP, UKG is preferred
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Strong Excel and payroll reporting skills
Work Environment
100% onsite in the Schwenksville, PA area
Monday through Friday
Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility required to support business needs
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required during peak payroll periods
Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
