    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process payroll for ~120 employees, including hourly, salaried, and overtime-eligible staff
    • Accurately calculate overtime, shift differentials, on-call pay, travel time, commissions, bonuses, and prevailing wage where applicable
    • Review and validate timecards submitted by field technicians and service teams
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
    • Manage payroll deductions including benefits, garnishments, and taxes
    • Maintain employee payroll records, rate changes, and job costing data
    • Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, status changes, and benefits deductions
    • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
    • Support year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and audits
    • Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent internal customer service
    • Assist with workers’ compensation reporting, union reporting (if applicable), and labor audits
    • Partner with accounting to ensure accurate general ledger postings

     




    Requirements

    Top Keys

    • 5x week on-site
    • 10+ Years Payroll background, light HR experience
    • ADP experience
    • Personable and Professional
