Payroll Specialist - Part-time

DavidsonTeal is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll / HR Specialist to join our team. This is an on-site position, and we are looking for someone who is available to work from our office. This position offers the opportunity to play an important role in supporting both our employees and daily business operations.What You'll DoProcess and maintain employee payroll information including pay updates, deductions, direct deposits, and other payroll-related changesReview payroll data for accuracy and ensure all approvals and deadlines are met each pay periodAssist with payroll adjustments such as bonuses, commissions, and other compensation changesWork with benefit deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, and other third-party payroll itemsResearch and resolve payroll discrepancies and assist with account reconciliationsSupport payroll reporting needs for leadership, benefits, taxes, and compliance requirementsMaintain accurate payroll records and assist with audits or verification requests as neededPartner with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure payroll processes run smoothlyStay informed on payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance updatesWhat We're Looking ForPart time 25 to 30 hours per week Payroll certification such as FPC or CPP is a plusPrevious payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping experienceHR experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and organizational skillsComfortable working with numbers, reports, and spreadsheetsStrong communication and customer service skillsExperience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel preferred Ready to join a company that treats drivers with respect and keeps its promises?
