Join a welcoming, collaborative payroll team supporting a large, multi-company organization with 10,000+ employees. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who is detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle weekly payroll for assigned employee groups (500-1,000+ employees)
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll, including off-cycle payments
- Review timekeeping data, resolve discrepancies, and support payroll audits/reconciliations
- Process new hires, employee changes, special pay requests, garnishments, and final pay
- Partner closely with HR and managers to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Research and resolve payroll questions while delivering excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations, overtime laws, and company policies
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of full-cycle payroll experience
- Experience processing multi-state payroll required
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, including OT laws
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Paycom strongly preferred
- Union payroll/reporting experience is a plus
- Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, and process improvement mindset
- Ability to communicate successes and examples of improving payroll processes
