Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• 
  
• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule
• 
  
• The Payroll Specialist will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• 
  
• Maintain payroll records and research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• 
  
• Partner with HR and Finance to process employee data changes and prepare payroll reports
• 
  
• The Payroll Specialist will reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end reporting
• 
  
• Support year-end payroll activities, including audits and tax reporting
• 
  
• The Payroll Specialist will maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist Role

• 
  
• Two or more years of payroll processing experience
• 
  
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms
• 
  
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and payroll tax compliance
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
