Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. This role involves managing and processing payroll efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Assist with garnishments and deductions, ensuring all processes comply with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the manager to resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Handle other payroll functions as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the payroll department.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and related functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle payroll discrepancies efficiently.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.
