Core duties and responsibilities include:
• Analyze and resolve complex payroll, tax, and accounting issues
• Audit quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, W-2s, and compliance reporting
• Partner with IT and internal teams on payroll system improvements and implementations
• Develop payroll reports, metrics, and data analysis for leadership
• Lead payroll-related projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Conduct system audits to maintain payroll and benefits data integrity
Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of payroll processing experience
• 3+ years of business operations/support experience
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and tax compliance
• Experience with payroll systems, reporting, and project management
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• CPP certification preferred
Compensation:
The Hourly range for this position is from $25 to $27, depending on experience.
