Job Type: Full-Time - In office

Simploy is all about helping small to medium-sized businesses by handling their HR needs right from our home base in St. Louis. Were a local company that values community, great service, and honest work. Were growing fast and looking to add a Payroll Specialist to our team.

What Youll Do:

  • Process Payroll: Take care of payroll details like tracking hours, handling deductions, and making sure everything complies with laws.
  • Talk to Clients: Keep in touch with our clients regularly to understand their payroll needs and make sure we meet their expectations.
  • Help Clients Use Our System: Show clients how to use our HR system and help them if they have any issues.
  • Solve Problems: Work on finding solutions when challenges arise and make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Keep Records: Manage and store all necessary documents and keep everything confidential.
  • Handle Various Tasks: Stay organized and manage different tasks to support our clients.

Who Were Looking For:

  • Youre great at dealing with people and have excellent communication skills.
  • You know your way around payroll systems and are good at following through on transactions.
  • Youre detail-oriented, good at solving problems, and can manage multiple tasks well.
  • Youre comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • PrismHR experience a big plus
  • 1-5 years of experience in payroll preferred
  • Union Experience is preferred
  • Interested in growth opportunities.
  • Multisite payroll experience

Education:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • An Associates Degree or certification in payroll is a plus but not necessary.
