LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Payroll Specialist for one of our clients located in San Francisco, California. The position will be in?office every day. The ideal candidate will have strong experience processing payroll using UKG in a medium to large sized organization, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and be comfortable managing payroll?related inquiries independently. The role is responsible for full?cycle payroll processing and payroll?related reporting and reconciliations. Responsibilities:
  • Process biweekly payroll for 200 - 300 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Review time and attendance records, identify discrepancies, and follow up with managers to resolve issues
  • Run payroll reports, validate data, and provide documentation and support to the Finance department
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and submit for payment
  • Process manual checks, including adjustments, replacement checks, and final paycheck
  • Respond to employee and agency inquiries related to payroll, wage garnishments, and benefit deductions
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with UKG is highly desired, or exposure to other payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience working with complex general ledger account coding
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and produce accurate reports
  • High level of discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Strong attention to detail, problem?solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
